UPDATE : 4/21/09 LOSING IT...
So, I know I haven't really done anything lately concerning my photography. Life is boring and so is the scenery, and I have no creativity to make my own scenes so I guess I'll just be drifting for awhile until I go somewhere.
Great news, though. I participated in NYSSMA (where you play a solo for someone and they grade you) and I didn't fail or freak out! Got a 91 out of 100 on my score, Sonata No. 2 by George Fredrich Handel. Think I spelled that wrong, w/e. Also read some really amazing books from the Luxe and House of Night series. My grades suck in school and I skipped track practice today! I convinced my mom to order some Chinese for later, so I'm totally looking forward to that. I also watched Slumdog Millionaire again, and almost cried. lol I'm also gonna see earth on Thursday, if all goes as planned.
UPDATE : 4/12/09 WASHINGTON D.C.
So, I just got back from a trip to Washington D.C. I loved it there and I'm so sad that I couldn't stay there longer. There were pictures everywhere, walking down one block could take me 20 minutes because I would stop every 10 seconds. And when I went to see the monuments, the capital building and also the Botanic garden, it was the most amazing thing. I took 500 pictures at the Botanic garden.
When I went to RadioShack to buy a new stick for my camera because my 2 GB was almost running out, the guy was amazed that I took 300 pictures the day before. And he told my mom, "Anyone who takes more than 800 pictures is a bad person." He was joking of course, but guess what? I took over 800 by the end of that day when I bought the 4 GB memory stick. (:
Anyway, I can't edit and upload much today because I'm too busy doing homework that I left for today, my last day. It was a terrible mistake.
I'm still upset with my camera because a lot of the pictures I took came out all fuzzy or blurred because the focus on my camera sucked. I complained the entire trip about how annoyed I was with my camera. I seriously can't wait until I get my new one.
Did I mention that I took exactly 1,998 pictures in those 3 days that I was in Washington D.C.? It's the craziest thing! And I was just short of two pictures. lol
UPDATE : 4/7/09WOW! 2,000 views! I'm so happy! I'm so ecstatic you guys like my work, it's really inspiring and the feedback really helps. Thank you all for the views, the favorites, the comments and the watches! I don't know what I would be without my viewers. (:

I've been really busy lately and I've lost some interest in photography during this time. I'm going to Washington D.C. pretty soon so I hope I can take more inspiring pictures there. I'm really sorry guys. But in the meantime, you should check out some of the older stuff in my gallery. I actually prefer those to my newer submissions.

So, the weekends over. I probably won't get anything up until next week, well maybe a few shots that I just took awhile ago outside in the storm. (: I couldn't catch any lightning which is really depressing but I did get some pretty good pictures. Anyway, next week is Spring Break, I AM SO HAPPY for that. I really don't think I could survive another week of school. It's not that it isn't hard, but it's really getting boring. So, I put up about 13 photos this weekend for my challenge, if you haven't checked them out yet... well... just start scrolling!
I started this project March 22, 2009. I'm planning on going around and just taking pictures that somehow relate to everything that's numbered below. Doing this seems like a really good idea that can maybe stretch my creative boundaries. It's going to be somewhat difficult since it seems I need models for a lot of these, but I'll find a way to portray them differently. I will also add a bit of a description for each entry. This will probably take place in a span of 3 months, so that I can still post thumbs on here, rather than just linking to the specific photo.

A view to the ceiling she does to avoid the lens which emits a blinding light that is directed at her. Otherwise, she is still but her head that follows her eyes finds distractions every which way until she has run out of patience and looks for interest in other places. Why can't you just stay still?
